One thing I absolutely hate about the world of making money online, is that there are so many darned ways to make money, and it looks like the low hanging system is going to be another big distraction that I should not follow! It’s definitely not a scam but it’s messing with my head as it’s yet another thing that I can’t wait to get started on!!!

How the Low Hanging System has Ruined my Plans
Over the last few weeks I’ve quit my job and rented my flat out and was busy preparing for my 3 months in Thailand. My plan was at last to start focusing on my affiliate website and finally getting around to some decent link building activities.
I really want to build the website up and more than anything, I want to prove to myself that I can actually make money through an affiliate website, because so far I’ve read an awful lot, taken a lot of action, but haven’t got to the monetisation stage yet. It feels like I just need to dedicate some more time to this.
Great plan, so what happened?
A friend from the Matched Betting group that I’m in (this group is awesome by the way) sent me a message the other day saying I need to get into the Merch by Amazon programme, so I signed up for this and have spent the last week getting my head into the concept and listening to all of the podcasts from Merch Entrepreneur
The whole thing really appeals to me as there is basically no investment, fulfilment or customer service required and it relies on you creating catchy slogans and designs. This is something that I’ve always been interested in and am actually quite good at so I am super excited.
I’ve been writing ideas down for T-shirt designs all week already and my head is exploding so much that I’m waking up in the middle of the night to write them down…. so much so that my girlfriend thinks I’m having an affair and sending texts to my lover in the middle of the night!
Sounds amazing, so what’s wrong with this?
In order to get started on the Merch by Amazon programme there is a whopping 2 month waiting list, maybe less, but probably even longer than that. I am soooo excited that I can be waiting around for 2 months for this and besides this, I’ll be in Thailand with time on my hands.
This is when I heard about the Low Hanging System by Rachel Rothe, which was recommended on the Merch Entrepreneur programme and gives you something to do with your over active brain whilst you wait for Amazon approval and also gives you another massive potential revenue stream.
So what is the Low Hanging System?
From what I’ve looked at this gives you heaps of tips and tricks about getting set up on 2 main reseller sites: Gearbubble and Etsy.
Gearbubble is a print on demand service where you can upload your designs and get them printed on a range of products from mugs and necklaces to pillow cases. The beauty of this, however, is that there is a direct integration with Amazon (and eBay), so your products will be automatically listed on Amazon when you list on Gearbubble…. and there is no waiting or approval time!!!
The second site Etsy is America’s equivalent of eBay for handcrafted and custom made products, so this course also shows you the best way to use this as a portal to sell your print on demand products.
Other than this it seems that there are heaps of tips and ticks about Facebook traffic, how to get traffic to your Amazon listings, outsourcing your business and where to source the best designs amongst other things.
Am I going to sign up for the low hanging system?
To be honest, I’m really torn at the moment, because if I get involved in this then it’s really going to blow my other goals out of the water and put the affiliate sites on the backburner again.
However, this feels like this is such a massive opportunity and exactly the type of business that I’m looking to set up, that I really don’t think I can pass on the opportunity.
The course is great value at $297 but I’m pretty sure that this is something you’re going to get back in no time at all if you follow the steps and have a little bit of creativity about you.

2018 Update
I signed up to the course and have been using it to add products to Amazon, eBay and Etsy successfully over the past year. It’s taught me loads about Print on Demand and how to create successful designs, so I’d totally recommend this investment for the training and great motivation from the really active FB community.

Weekly Goals
Last Week’s Goal was to add 3 articles to my affiliate site. I didn’t achieve last week’s goal as I only published 2 articles, but a lot of my time this week has been taken up by Merch by Amazon excitement instead, so I don’t think that’s the worst trade-off.
This Week’s Goals
I’ve finally managed to get my first product related article back from one of my writers, which has taken him an age to complete. He pitched himself as an expert product review writer, but I don’t think that’s actually correct.
I’m either going to have to drop him, or coach him a little more with the next set of articles. He’s actually from the UK and is only getting $10 every 1000 words so I can’t really complain.
Anyway, now that I’ve got this article, I need to try to knock off one of my month’s goals and set up the Amazon Affiliate account and get my first article published with affiliate links.
It’s the Bank Holiday this weekend, so I’m not going to have a huge amount of time but I’ll give it a good crack.
Hi there.
I’m in a similar position to you with this LHS. I’m with Wealthy Affiliate University, which I think is the BEST affiliate training group around. (OK, I’m biased)
I just watched the promo video for LHS and was searching to see if there were any negative reviews on it. Yours seems to be the closest I’ve seen so far.
Like you, I’m also a bit worried about this just turning out to be another distraction from my affiliate sites. My posting schedule is suffering at the moment.
Thanks for posting this, it’s all food for thought, hey?
Nice-looking site by the way.
Cheers, Thomas.
Hi Thomas,
Yes, to be honest the LHS programme is worthwhile if you are getting into a Print on Demand business, however, it is no silver bullet by any means. There’s a lot of work involved with it to research the niche and find ideas, but if you get a design that takes off like Rachel did, then you can earn the big money. However, I don’t see lots of people rushing out quitting their day jobs after doing this.
In my opinion it’s a good way to learn about this business model, and is something you can relatively easily outsource, but is most likely going to provide you with a bit of extra cash rather than a full income stream!
cheers,
Martin
She is a multimillionaire however the market is now flooded and she is selling a dead fish and she refused to refund me my money as I went 1 day over her 7 day refund period……Cow …….she has millions and would not give me back my little bit of cash that I really needed. HEARTLESS CRUEL NASTY HORRID WOMAN. SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR SUCCESS…JUST YOUR CASH.
VEDA COLLETTE MEAD
Hi Veda, if you’ve reached out to her, I’d share your review on Trust Pilot & Ripoff report.com to warn others. I’m sorry this happened to you
please do, the same happened to me.
how is it a rip off if he was over the refund period?
That is his own fault sister.
Thank you for your post, I had been watching her ads from you-tube for weeks and she dropped the price to 25-fortnight payments of $89 to begin participating in the LHS. Just minutes ago, I had filled out my contact and banking info and all I needed to do was hit the purchase button, but I thought, why not just check online real quick for a chat forum or website that might have more information about the LHS so that I could at least have an idea of what I’m getting into… this was the first I saw and I’ve only read a few posts but that was enough for me… She does seem to be trying desperately to drag anyone into her clearly biased business, that she might get a few extra dollars out of it…I barely make ends meet as it is now although if I had the chance I would work very hard to build my business, however, it sounds/looks like I would have thoroughly regretted signing up. Guess I’ll stick to what’s working for me, for now…
I watched today and it is $1,491.00 with 3 payments. I think I will pass on this.
oh i thought it was less…
Rachel Rofe’s ‘Low Hanging System’ is a course that is supposed to help people become Amazon sellers with ‘popular’ print-on-demand products – ie t-shirts, mugs, glasses etc. The actual reality is that you pay a lot of money to get in on the ‘secrets’ of Amazon selling – but you get very little for it. The course materials are so disorganised you cant find anything that you have ever read again, the steps required to take advantage of their BIG selling point – boxes of ‘free’ mugs are completely incomprehensible and so everyone just gives up on it because its impossible to learn what to do in the 6 months that you get to learn it in. And the whole of the mechanics of getting the product printed and shipped, IF you ever get a customer, is more than likely not to work. And if you try to get help, each department points to another department and puts the blame there. This truly is a ‘mugs game’ and you would be better off to put your money into crypto – which is dodgy enough – but not as dodgy as this crock of BS. It’s associated companies, Gearbubble and Podtomatic are just as bad. If you have the temerity to complain about Podtomatic not working, they just cancel you and leave you in the lurch with your problems. But of course, there are always people who think that the ‘glass half-full’ view will actually make reality bend to their wishful thinking – and so RR will continue to thrive. One thing is for sure – she s making a lot more money with her courses and Gearbubble fees than with the product sales.
Thank you very much for this article! Grateful for the writer and the commenters. I also have been looking into LHS. Recently. When we were in the webinar I asked so many questions that went and answered it felt like it was automated and there was fake attendance. When she sent an email for follow-up I wrote my concerns and questions went again and answered but she goes again and sends further follow up offers to 3 payment plans for seven payment plans. Not answer my questions. And since she resides in us that means the price of the course are in American dollar and if she is too busy to not answer my questions now before I am in her team what guarantees me she will once I am in her team?
I will look into the Merch by Amazon. Thnx.
Thank you for your feedback. I was hesitant and wondering if her riches come from our eagerness to pay her for tips on an easy income. The answer is yes.
You call her names, yet YOU are the one that went beyond the seven-day trial. What an entitled, spoiled, ignorant twat you are.
She makes money off everything you do even after the $1200-$2000 initial payment. She owns gearbubble and she gets free listing on etsy off every single “student” and its a fulltime job – not a few hours a day as advertised. And theres no way you get a refund. The best thing i did was take that as an expensive lesson learnt & not give her another dollar by signing onto gearbubble etc..
Seems there is quite a lot of negative reviews regarding gearbubble. Just do a google search and see what I mean. Pretty bad really. A lot of unhappy people.
Hi there,
Just curious if you decided to continue with LHS and Gearbubble dropshipping after your first year since the $297 purchase is only for 1 year.
Thanks!
Jay
Hi Jay, I ended up buying the lifetime integration so am continuing to do this. However, to be honest I haven’t made any money out of LHS. I think maybe if I had focused on this as my sole thing, then I could have made something out of it, but I’m selling maybe 4 products a month and that doesn’t even cover my Amazon PRO fees.
I do think, however, that the course is pretty good and if I had only bought the basic course and not the holiday jumpstart programme, then I would have been a lot happier and not wasted so much money. IT’s also a good way to learn about Print on Demand, and selling products in general.
I think print on demand is getting more and more competitive and you really need to niche down to find the right products to sell, but you can still make money out of it. The only thing with LHS is that you need to upload tons of products and hope that they sell and it doesn’t seem that a lot of people in the groups are making really good money from this.
I still love making the mugs and doing the designs, but would like to recoup some of my investment on this…
My plan is to try to automate this a bit more so my VA can do a lot of the work for me, including the research, but I just haven’t had time for briefing her yet and Q4 is almost on us!!!
On this date 10/07/2021, the price for the LHS is 3 “Easy” payments of $497
Today – April 4, 2023 it is 5 payments of $497
Bought the package last year and not one month broke even. This end November 2018 I started to see one sale a day at amazon.ca. But the printing is terrible. One customer cancelled after 9 days wait and today two more are over 12 days waiting for shipping and nothing but promises and rude support. They believe we are all imbeciles. In a way we are. From Rachel’s (LHS) and Don’s (Gearbubble) presentations and emails we learned that they are our (regular hopeless clients of Gearbubble) COMPETITION. That is: they run the printer for free so they pay almost nothing for products and they prioritize the printing, of course, in their favor. Then they tell you that you should use free shipping and very low prices. Really? Frustration and the sentiment of being mugged (pun intended) are taking your sleep away. Or you have to care less, but what about the money you spend?
In fact most of the sellers in their Facebook group are selling FBA so NOT LHS anymore. Not sure where they print because Gearbubble… And the dishwasher safe lie: wows! they are not even hand wash safe!!
I regret deeply that I didn’t know all this scam competition before. You stand zero chance in Low Hanging System. If you are not family or friends of the deceiving gurus please stay away!
Thank you for your review I was getting ready to buy the $2000 package , I’m so glad I read this first ! Are you doing something different now I would like to hear if your having any success
Hi Mary,
I think you need to be careful about reading different people’s reviews, because at the end of the day, you get out of something what you put into it.
In response to Cris points:
– Shipping times of 9 – 12 days are not unusual, especially at a busy point of time in Q4. What you need to do is make sure that your handling and shipping times are updated accordingly in Amazon… I always set mine at 14 days during Q4.
– The FB Group is actually really helpful and there are some cool people in there who are always willing to give you advice and help out. Not sure where the point about FBA comes from though.
– The final point about calling this a scam is pretty harsh and I don’t think this is a con at all. What it is, however, is a lot of hard work before you start to see returns. I’m talking about creating hundreds if not thousands of mugs, researching them and writing the product listings, which all takes time. I am also personally paying for the Amazon integration and the Amazon account fee each month so am making pretty much 0 money on this. However, I think if you perserved at this then you could start to make money out of it, but you need to upload consistently and don’t give up. There is definitely no silver bullet to this one, but I would still recommend taking the $297 course, which gives you some useful insights into Print on Demand in general, rather than taking the greater risk of $2k, which personally I didn’t think was worth the extra money.
Spoken like a true convert. Do MLM too? If they are not dishwasher safe stop clogging up the world with useless toot! All for a dollar! Shame on you!
how is the Facebook group helpful? you aren’t allowed to complain or say anything negative about the system. you are required to only say good things and hold your tongue otherwise. The fact that they censor people on their FB group from saying anything negative about their system shows they want to mask the truth and create a false impression that everyones satisfied
WOW! I am sooo glad I read these comments.
I just spent two hours watching the LHS webinar and was seriously considering investing in their $2,000 package! Then in my search for reviews about the LHS I came across this here and was rather confused to see that there is a $297 package (it seems the only difference us that the $2,000 includes five cases of mugs that they will print on and send to Amazon to sell FBA for you.
But still, with my limited budget I would have to use a personal line of credit to afford $2,000!
And then to see here comments from some who say they had very few sales of their LHS products even on Amazon is very discouraging to me!
I realize that in order for me to start up any ecommerce business I am going to have to invest some money, but I wonder if even spending the $297 is worth it, or maybe I should invest it into another ecommerce model?
I would not mind spending up to $2,000 as a start up ecommerce investment, but I want to invest into a business model that has a very realistic prospect of appreciating substantially, even if it takes a year or so (I am retired/disabled on a fixed income, so I have a relatively modest budget for this, but I do have plenty of time to attend to it).
Any recommendations?
Hi,
Thanks for your comment and taking the time to read the article. My personal advice would be that if you are short on cash but have time available then you shouldn’t spend the $2000 on the package, as I honestly don’t think it’s worth the extra money. You get to attend some webinars with Rachel, and can ask your own questions, but to be honest you can ask these in the facebook group anyway. You also get 5 boxes of mugs included in the package, however, until you have proven that some of your mugs will sell, then this is really a waste of money and just a lucky guess… especially as you have to place the order within a certain amount of time.
When I did this I was pressured into sending out 5 cases of mugs and pretty much none of them have sold, as I had no track record of sales for these in the first place.
However, I still think the $297 course is good value, as this can teach you the basics of print on demand and get you up and running fairly quickly.
I think that you can make money from this method but you really need to stick with it, continually upload and get thousands of mugs listed. I think the trick is that once a few of your mugs sell a few times, then you can order a case and sell these more easily via FBA, which is where more of the money comes in.
It doesn’t sound like a lot of people are making large amounts of money from this method, and the market is somewhat saturated, however, if you stick with it you should be able to make a good enough side income from this, although this isn’t something I’ve managed to do yet.
Instead I opted to go with Merch by Amazon and focus on that… again that takes a lot of time and continual research.
If you do decide to take up the course, please follow this link and I’ll get a small commission for my efforts as well: https://jvz3.com/c/857423/222697
Hello DK,
I started my search and learning about both LHS, by watching Rachel’s webinar as well as watching this guy Dan who teaches how to do FBA from Canada. very confused so far as I don’t have a clue if this will work from Canada. so I sent them an email with my question and they are not answering my question which is really clear. they just replied back you could. THAT’S IT.
so I appreciate if anyone reading this can help me out to start and buy their package or not.
thanks a lot
MarP
No
Hello, I have the same issue. I do not want to invest in LHS until I understand how it fully works, and if it works in Canada. There is no way to contact them rather than the webpage Contact Us, but there is no telephone, so I put my questions there. Later on, I also sent an email with the same questions, and so far they have not replied. I do not want to imagine if I invest, and I have any issue or doubt, will they do the same and do not answer.
There is no profit when you have to sell at such a high price point. competition sells for 9.99 and less…I have to sell for 18.99 to make a $1. Then you have to pre pay credits to cover the cost of the product or the automation does not work. The only people making money is gearbubble and the low hanging system gurus.
today 14 of my listings got flagged by amazon for intellectual violations. None are infringing. I refuse to waste any more time resouces on this.
Late shipments always put my account stats at risk.
You are correct that the only ones making money, on mass, are gearbubble and LHS gurus.
The free mugs, that you receive, cost them $1each , probably less with volume purchase, from Alibaba.
wow so the free mugs aren’t free and will put you in debt instead of making money on it. $19 for a mug is insane. I also didn’t know I could only list on Amazon.
July 2020
Wish I would seen this link Before I clicked purchase!
My non- refundable 2k to sell plain white mugs with plain black text for… get this… $19.95 each – that’s her “formula” – is gone forever or until my lawyer can get it back. The kicker is you can’t discover that you Must sell the 180 “free” mugs on amazon until after you purchase.
If & when you do the math on amazon fee’s + shipping + item cost and selling items are a Realistic price you discover you’ve lost money.
Don’t Buy It!
My goodness! It must have been God to let me read these comments. I almost decided to spend these $2000 on coming Friday. Anyway, I booked an appointment with their counselors this Friday, and I will ask if they still have the $297 course. On the website, they were asking if you have $4000 to invest immediately!
unfortunately for me god didn’t send me here till now. i kept getting good reviews by people I now noticed are being paid to make their program look good.
Thanks Dave——totally appreciate your input!!
Here’s what isn’t disclosed until after your payment has been made;
The 180 “free” mugs Must be sold on Amazon and Amazon only – Why, what difference could it possibly make to gearbubble (the supplier of mugs, printing & shipping) if they send the mugs to a etsy, ebay or amazon buyer?
The 180 “free” mugs must be sold (or lost) within 3 months.
Spotniches “bonus” which is sellers (Rachel Rofe) website – of such little value she doesn’t even use (as noted on all weekly webinars).
Picsomething bonus – image making website that is basic, outdated, comes with no instruction and not worth using.
Gearbubble access which is a non-subscription dropship service – free to use by anyone
Life time integrations “bonus” – Amazon integration can only be used if you are part of the $39.99 monthly amazon pro package
A plethora or unorganized, outdated notes and videos that aren’t even relevant to how amazon or etsy’s website even looks and operates today.
The fee Current fee schedule for all promoted selling platforms – info that is available is outdated and irrelevant.
Recommended sales price of $19.95 (includes 4.95 shipping) – in all prior info via LHS info on internet stated $14.95 a more reasonable price for a plain white mug with plain black print and not graphic.
Here’s the current Amazon fee/profit breakdown (7/2020):
Item sales price: $14.95
Referral fee: -$2.95
Other fee: -$.99
Add shipping from gearbubble: -$4.95
and cost of mug: -$4.95
Total Profit: $1.11 Sales Needed to return Investment: 1,802 items
With Amazon Pro: $.11 (shipping reduced to $4.49)
Item sales price: $15.95
Referral Fee: -$3.07
Other fee: -$.99
Add shipping from gearbubble: -$4.95
and cost of mug: -$4.95
Total Profit: $1.99 Sales Needed to return Investment: 1005
With Amazon Pro: $.99 (shipping reduced to $4.49)
Item Sales Price: $16.95
Referral Fee: -$3.22
Other Fee: -$.99
Add shipping from gearbubble: -$4.95
and cost of mug: -$4.95
Total Profit: $2.84 Sales Needed to return Investment: 704
With Amazon Pro: $1.84 (shipping reduced to $4.49)
If you Subscribed to the Amazon Seller Pro for and additional $39.99 per month shipping would be reduces to $4.49 but then there would be an additional “storage” fee per month of $6.90 per cubic foot or $0.15 per unit, whichever is greater. Long-term storage fees are assessed on the 15th of each month.
So add -$1.48 to the cost if you sold 15 items per month.
DId you get your refund from LHS?
I signed up for 713 monthly.
Since that thr cost it’s almost 4k.
They told me to pay 7 monthly installments.
I realize its not going to work and the program doesn’t worth that amount of money.
I am requesting to cancel my enrollment and my refund.
@Jael, did you get your money back? I am in the same boat 🙁
Well I have been searching for this thread before I committed to the program and I never saw negative reviews. It’s interesting that it was $2000 now it’s $5000 and I am emailing everyone so I can get help to quit. It is a waste of time and the mug quality is very poor. It is anything BUT LowHanging – it really is a time sucking money pit.
Wow I didn’t realise it was $5k …. that’s crazy and would be very difficult to get back as easily as it quoted. However, I do think the basic intro course I did originally was quite useful and helped me get my teeth into Print on Demand more easily.
I just finished listening to LowHangingecom.com. Now I understand why Rachel said “we’re going for Quantity not Quality”. She’s reduced the package, including all the bonuses from $15K to 3 payments of $497 totalling $1,491.
There’s another guy (Dave Kettner) selling a similar Mug package via Lurn & Robert Kiyosaki + bonuses for $1581 – 4 payments of $397. Not with GearBubble though.
Noticed how both used the phrase: “You can fail 98% of the time and still make money”.
These must be bots or its totally different
I just watched the intro webinar sounded quite simple and exciting. The only one I was thinking about purchasing after all the other training I have watched so far. Now that I read the reviews and comments I will save myself the close to $1500! I am a single mom still on a furlough from pandemic can’t afford to loose the little $ I have for something that’s not going to bring a decent return.
If your interested in mugs, ect. Print on demand is taught on you tube for free, The Life Hacker Couple has a You tube channel that will teach you everything for free. Yes their getting money but free to you. If creating & dropshipping print on demand is something you want to learn I would go their. Good luck to you
Hi Aynur, just like you I’m a single mum and almost signed up for this after watching every other webinar. Glad i came across these reviews. Will help me save the very little money i have. Wish someone could tell me honestly just what works to make passive income. Life is expensive.
Thank you for a very fair review. I was tempted to look into the Low Hanging system, but since I am unmotivated to make the artwork for the items, I wasn’t going to sign on right away. I was very turned off by the Gearbubble website – it has no real info on how much the fees are. This is a giant red flag! Any legitimate site will set out what fees are involved and what levels of participation you can sign up for. When they hide the fees it is an indication that it is a scammy business. Like the timeshares that won’t let you go home to think about the membership – you must buy NOW! The offer will not be extended again!!
Thanks for an interesting review and great comments!
I just learned about this LHS today, after reading all these comments am scared to invest in it but I also don’t want to miss a chance to make some money. Am completely not sure how it works, how long is the course?, is it for 3 months(the 3 $497 payments)?, will I actually make money?…I need someone to be brutally honest, not to just talk ill of the system, but actually give me real answers.
Hi There,
To give you a more balanced view of the course… I went on this about 3 years ago and paid a similar price to what you have quoted. Was it worth the money?
Well, at the time there was a quick version of the course available for about $300 and I wish I had done that instead of buying lots of things that I didn’t really need ie 5 batches of Gearbubble mugs. The weekly tutorials were ok, but nothing really that special to be honest and I didn’t find them that useful.
However, what I did find was that this was a really useful way into learning about Print on Demand and this started by journey down that path, which has lead to me earning a few thousand each month mainly via Merch by Amazon.
Will you make money overnight with this System. No, no and categorically no.
If you focused on this system as your single thing, then maybe you could make money in the long run, as you learned more about ads and things like that, but I just think the mug market is pretty competitive at the moment, and the costs of Gearbubble mugs are quite high, so it’s really difficult to compete.
There seem to be a lot of negative comments on this thread now from users who have taken the course, but I guess you need to balance that up with how long they perservered on the system.
Overall I’m glad that I took the course but I didn’t make any real money from it and by the time I set up my systems with a VA I probably lost a couple of thousand dollars in total, but I don’t regret doing it as it was a starting point in the journey that it’s taken me on over the past few years, which have led to my current successful side income.
Like anything you will really need to work at these side hustles and see which one works best for you but imho there are cheaper less risky ways out there compared to the Low Hanging System…
Which other
less risky options are there
on average, what is the minimum and maximum amount I could make monthly with LHS
I’ve been scrolling down google searching “low hanging system scam” and I’ve been through 6 pages of scrolling clicking in each one that at first appear to be honest reviews. Well it turns out they all are advertising LHS. Very frustrating! Where can I see some honest reviews from real people???
Minimum is $0 and maximum could be around $100K a month. I made $30-35K per month between April to June but I know other shops that were doing a lot more, this was on Etsy.
I bought the course years ago, and it takes time to build up. It’s not a quick thing.
I think the course is too expensive now though, they have added a lot to it but the real value is the facebook group as you have a lot of 6 figure earners there that give really good advice, I was selling OK then I saw one lady publish her results and it gave me a real kick up the derriere so I decided to take it seriously.
I would start with Etsy as it’s easier to get sales, then use the profits to to go on Amazon and do FBA, it’s more hands off than Etsy.
You also don’t need to sell only mugs but there are a tonn of things you could sell, blankets, t-shirts, canvas, necklaces etc. But mugs are easy to start off with, especially on Etsy.
From what I’ve seen is that a lot of people have unrealistic expectation when getting into this business, they think they would start making money straight away and when they don’t they stop putting in the effort. There’s a lot to learn and if you don’t have POD experience like I did (I was selling on teespring before) the learning curve is steeper, but having said that it’s one of the easiest ways to make a 6 figure business if you are consistent and continue to learn.
Is there any legitimate programs that actually do bring in residual income?
It almost sounds like you’re better off buying a pack of $1 mugs from Dollar Tree and selling them on Esty.
So glad that I read this page NOT that I would have signed up because anyone spruiking get rich schemes is getting rich from selling you the dream, PERIOD.
It sounds like an easy achievable road to a passive income dream but that’s why she’s selling it.
The truth is the numbers just aren’t there in a saturated market like people have explained already above, add the problematic supply chain and what more do people need to understand.
The dream that these people are trying to sell is just a dream. Watch lots on YouTube, read a lot, save your money for your venture.
I was just done watching the webinar of LHS and I was convinced to pay the $497 in 3 payment plan. Looks so real to me! I thought to look for reviews first online before
I decided to do it, Thank God I did! I saw you guys comment and omg! Good thing I didn’t pay anything yet and I will NEVER pay to any gurus until I check their reviews first!
Thank you!
Yup, I’m glad you did! I paid… but now I’m trying to get a refund because the whole process is time-consuming and her team is saying I have to sell 90 mugs and wait for 3 months in order for the refund to be considered. Ridiculous!
@angelicogbonba Did you a refund? Please share
I’m glad I came across this. I was getting ready to sign up and pay the $247 a month for 7 months. The webinar was enticing, all the print screens of “success statements and sales and profits”.
She already states in her webinar thingy advertising the course that she needs people to advertise her mugs haha folk are funny. She’s basically looking for workers without an official employment status, you get commission. I’d say she has plenty now. Too competitive so lots of losers.
Someone, anyone, if you are making any passive income on a program and its tested and true, please kindly advise what is out there that works. Please.
I’ve just finished watching the webinar. What I liked was that she was upfront about having something to sell at the end of it! What I didn’t like was the hard sell to sign up immediately for the special price which ends in 49 mins…48 mins….47 mins…
If someone is pressurising you to buy NOW it’s normally not a good idea to buy.
(Plus I couldn’t get the chat box to work so either I’m too stupid at IT to be able to make LHS work anyway or all the questions from (presumably) attendees were not questions from attendees – for all I know I could have been the only person on the webinar!)
It is a recorded webinar that she plays over and over again but it looks and feels like it’s live.
I rachel rofe low hanging system webinar was never recorded.
I joined and has been a total nightmare to deal with her team.
They just want your money and put you on these payment plan and take money out every month.
No one cares to help you.
There is a lot of work to list products for a profit of $8/piece.
Not worth it at all.
i am sure you were the .only person…..
you can t ask questions..
i t s fake..
Thank you. I almost fell for it (as you do when you are looking for a better way to live)! Shame these rich people forget where they came from.
rachel rofe low hanging system Is a waste of time!
Customer support is not helpful
Videos are useless
Reps are a waste of time!
DOH! Several weeks reading this too late!
Do you have any thoughts or reviews on Mug Samurai
I watched the webinar four days ago. Was very interested but smelled a rat. It was trying to make out it was live but it was replay of the webinar that was clearly recorded before Christmas.
I dropped off the ‘webinar’ after she started asking for $2000+
Subsequently had daily emails offering the system at increasingly reduced prices. Today – 24 hours only – I can get the system for $197!
Still not signing up though. I am sure it is NOT a scam – but also very sure it is nowhere near as easy as she makes out. Glad I checked for the reviews and got some real low down on the low hanging system.
Clear to me that she IS making money out of mugs – the mugs that sign up for program!
(no disrespect to those who fell for her gushing presentation).
THANK YOU – to everyone that left a comment. I am so glad you have given me the insight into this. Honestly I often miss the beginning speel of many online programs and listen to what they say at the end. This one just talked about your dreams and what they ‘offer’ but NOT about what exactly the business was, or how it works to your advantage with ‘very little time needed’. It seemed like a way for them to make money from us rather than helping us to create our own wealth. I really appreciate finding this out in the comments the experiences everyone here has had. I hope those requesting credits get their funds back.
Someone by the name of Cynthia did some research and found out some concerning things. This is Cynthia’s comment from a website that reviewed LHS: “Ecom drop ship business – buyer beware
Please be careful and ask questions.
The business purported to be a hands free, drop ship opportunity with 38% profit margins, selling novelty mugs, T-Shirts, etc, on-line. They claim to provide a fool proof system that does all the work. The Seller’s only job would be to come up with about 900 catchy phrases, post them on their program and keep them coming, while waiting for the cash register to ring.
Upon deeper digging, I found unsettling information that could have caused a serious financial setback and a large commitment that I feel was undisclosed during the the promo/proforma meetings and webinars that I attended.
I also found that the numbers as reported, could not be relied upon as each coach had a different set of base line costs and profit percentages, therefor leaving major doubt as to whether or not you would ever be able to recognize a profit with this system.
Meantime, the moderators from each session added more unexpected and hidden costs with each session. The biggest surprise was the slip up when a moderator responded to an email question of mine:
We were told we did not have to buy any inventory. No up front costs.
However, the moderator responded that the Seller’s (us) would have to front all of the costs of sales- including inventory , packaging, handling, shipping, listing fees, etc., virtually as soon as the product was purchased, as it would immediately be charged to the credit card that we are required to keep on file with the company.
This is the first I heard of this.
The kicker is that it appears that you are only paid at the end of a month or 30 day cycle ( unclear)
So, bottom line – if the touted sales projection of 20,000 in gross sales this month actually happened ( per their several claims), the credit card that they require you to keep on file ( which was not disclosed before contract), would automatically be charged as much as 81% of your gross sales- at the point of sale- if you go by their last proforma estimate of a 19% profit margin. Which by the way, dropped significantly from its original starting point at 38% – at the contract signing.
Leaving you potentially holding a fairly large bag- not knowing when you will actually be paid, and what ever else might be deducted, such as charge backs.
It also appears that you are solely responsible for customer service, so if there is a complaint, you may be expected to refund the whole transaction, through no fault of your own- even though you may have only netted 19% or less.
They claim that you are not building a brand, so there is no repeat business, but you must keep your reviews good or it may be grounds for termination. This left me scratching my head.
The way I read that, is that the Sellers ( us) must bear all the responsibility for the expenses and damage to their reputation if Low Hanging Systems, Inc- partner/affiliate, Gearbubble, fails to deliver, deliver on time or sends a shoddy or broken product.
There doesn’t seem to be any incentive on the company’s part, to ensure that the Seller’s reputation and purse is not damaged.
I was quite astonished to find that many of the company’s policies, procedures and required financial and legal commitments were not fully disclosed until after the initial deposit phase, and that the proforma cost and income projections appeared to drop radically.“
Thank you to everyone who has left their honest opinion … just watched a “live” webinar … chat was only me and 1 other lady that I could see. I only looked into it because….well times are hard, money is scarce … would have loved a passive way to make some money to pay off debt and such. BUT!! when i heard the “Just 5 simple payments of $497 USD” I knew something was off …. I dont have that kind of money … or I wouldnt be looking for something like this to begin with. I have been doing my research (for a change…been scammed before) and have learned the hard way if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is. I have read on a few sites that sellers are charged the moment a product is sold …which means they need a credit card to charge … when will that money come back to you ? especially if your only making say 5$ in actual profits…. they make it seem like you sell an item and then what ever is profit is added to your account…..not you pay first and in 30 days you may get a pay out from Amazon or Etsy…. it all seems shady …. I don’t like shady. My gut says beware …. so im going to Opt to not go deeper in debt
